WOMEN OF ASPHALT TEXAS INVITES YOU!
Please join Women of Asphalt Texas Branch for our first regional event on October 4, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, hosted by Niece Equipment at their facility in Ft. Worth, Texas. Join us for happy hour with hors d'oeuvres, networking, music, and games. We will kick off with a short Q&A session with National Women of Asphalt’s Board of Directors and our state Chair and Vice Chair. Learn what Women of Asphalt has in store for 2024 at the national and state level and network with fellow TXAPA members and Women of Asphalt members.
Women of Asphalt Texas is driven by women with purpose. Women like you! Make a meaningful impact by volunteering for one of our subcommittees. You can sign up for as many subcommittees as you like and serve in any capacity that's comfortable. Take a look!
Events & Fundraising
The Events & Fundraising subcommittee oversees WofA Texas’ fundraising efforts by planning events and managing WofA-specific participation at TXAPA events. Our goals are to maintain a WofA presence wherever possible, raise awareness, and drive membership.
Mentorship & Education
The Mentorship & Education subcommittee coordinates outreach in the educational and career mentorship realms. Our goals are to establish a presence in universities, help female students discover career options they may not have considered or known about.
Service & Outreach
The Service & Outreach subcommittee conducts community outreach through a variety of creative service programs and is responsible for the Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative in Partnership with TxDOT and Governor Abbott’s office.
