A: Cancellations for events must be submitted ten (10) business days prior to the event date.

TXAPA understands that there are many reasons for cancellations, which is why there is great flexibility prior to the cancellation date.

A: The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association is a trade association comprised of competitor members with interest in asphalt pavements.  The purpose of the association is to address common problems and areas of interest of all member firms.  It is appropriate for the membership, officers, directors, and committees to meet formally and informally to discuss those common problems and areas of interest. 

Any topic which might be construed as a violation of antitrust laws will not be discussed at any meeting of the association.  Examples of subjects which will not be discussed are pricing, surcharges, conditions, terms, prices of services, allocating or sharing of customers, and refusing to deal with specific suppliers or classes of suppliers.  Any discussions, among competitors, relating to any of these subjects are per se violations of the antitrust laws and can lead to severe criminal and civil penalties. 

It is essential that necessary steps be taken to prevent any association meeting from becoming a forum for those types of discussions which might lead to an understanding or agreement, expressed or implied, with respect to any essential element of competition.  You are cautioned to make certain your discussions do not stray from topics related to the purpose of the meeting.  In the event a discussion is initiated which may be even remotely construed as a potential violation of antitrust laws, the person in charge of the meeting shall stop the discussion and adjourn the meeting immediately.

A: I hereby grant Texas Asphalt Pavement Association the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish any recorded media of me, taken by Texas Asphalt Pavement Association or its representatives. I understand that these recorded media may be used for various purposes, including, but not limited to promotional materials, advertising, social media, and website content.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photographs and/or videos.

I release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Texas Asphalt Pavement Association and its representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that I, my heirs, representatives, or assigns may have by reason of this authorization. I further agree to indemnify Texas Asphalt Pavement Association against any claims arising from this agreement or relating to Texas Asphalt Pavement Association's use of any recorded media.
