What do the winners receive?
Each member of the winning team receives a $2,000 TXAPA Scholarship. Each member of the second-place team gets a $1,000 TXAPA Scholarship.
Is there a mileage reimbursement?
TXAPA provides a stipend to each student who achieves full participation in the competition. Full participation means the student attends the event and remains for the entire competition.
Is there a hotel reimbursement?
Students may use their travel stipend to cover travel, meals, and lodging. Additionally, competitors may take advantage of discounts at several local hotels. Note that you must use the provided hotel registration links to receive the discount.
What if my team cannot attend the welcome dinner?
Teams are not required to attend the welcome dinner. Teams must check in and be ready to start the competition by 8 AM on April 10, 2026.
What if I have special dietary needs?
Please email Madison Solano with any special food considerations before April 3, 2026.
