Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I want to sponsor at the meeting and/or golf tournament. How can I do that?

A: Sponsorships are available during the registration process. If you have already registered, you can log in again and purchase a sponsorship, or you can contact TXAPA for assistance. 

Q: Why do I need to choose a password?

A: A password will allow you to log in and manage your registration. 

Q: How do I get my hotel room?

A: Please click on the Hotel link above and select the appropriate option (if you are with TxDOT, select the TxDOT link for the GOVT rate). 

Q: I need to register my boss and our whole team, but I am not coming to the meeting. What do I do? 

A: Register your first attendee to get started and follow the prompts to get the rest of your team and their spouses or SOs registered. Make sure to add your email address to the CC field on Step 2: Personal Information so you receive a copy of the registration. 

Q: I need to register several people in addition to myself. How can I do that? 

A: Select the appropriate registration type and proceed through registration for yourself. Before your registration is finalized, you will be asked if you would like to add people to your group. Follow the prompts to add the next person to your group until complete. 

Q: Can I use my email address to register someone else?

A: Please do NOT substitute your email address for anyone else's. If you are registering on behalf of someone else, please use their email address to get started. You will have the opportunity to enter a CC email address during this process. 

Q: I need to register my company to exhibit but I am not the person who will be with the booth. Should I select "yes" for exhibitor anyway?

A: Yes. If anyone if you group will man the booth, select "yes" for exhibitor and follow the prompts. If the person who will man the booth is responsible for registering on their own, do not select "yes" for exhibitor. 

Q: How can I register to exhibit?

A: Associate members: select your registration type as Member and member type as Associate. You will have the option to indicate whether you want to exhibit. The next screen will ask you to select your booth type. 

Q: Do I have to be a TXAPA Member to exhibit?

A: Yes, you must be a member of TXAPA to exhibit. You can apply for membership here.  Members are subject to board approval. The final deadline to submit your application and fees is August 13, 2021. 

Q: How many registrations are included with my booth selection?

A: One registration is included with the booth. Please register any additional attendees following the prompts in the registration process. Non-registered guests will be required to register before participating in any aspect of the annual meeting. 

Q: What is the paid speaking opportunity? 

A: The Associate Member Technology Showcase and Expo is scheduled from  1:30 PM - 4:00 PM and includes four paid speaking opportunities plus an upgraded 10x10 booth. One registration is included in the fee.     

Q: How do I register my spouse or SO?

A: To register a spouse or significant other, begin registration for the primary registrant. You will be able to add your guest as part of your registration. 

Q: Do you offer student discounts?

A: Yes, we do offer a student discount. The student must be sponsored by a member and have a direct connection to the industry, i.e. scholarship winner, Asphalt Road-eo participant, intern, or employee. If you want to register a student, please contact TXAPA for the code. 

Q: Can I bring my spouse or significant other? 

A: Yes, absolutely. You can add your spouse or SO during the registration process. 

Q: Is there a special "Ladies Program" for my wife or girlfriend?

A: We recognize that not all spouses and SOs are women, so in an effort to be more inclusive and allow all our guests the time and freedom to explore and enjoy the city of San Antonio and the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort, we are not hosting a ladies-specific event. Instead, we are offering a 10% group discount at the hotel spa and of course, as always, all our guests are warmly invited to attend any social event including the Golf Tournament*, Sporting Clay Shoot*, Welcome Night Reception, Dinner, and Casino Party, and our Scholarship Night Reception, Dinner, Auction, and Celebration with Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers. (*With entry fee.)

Q: I want to bring a guest to the Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers show but they are NOT registered for the meeting. Is there a fee for this?

A: Yes. Each registered attendee may purchase an additional ticket for Scholarship night at $100. This ticket covers your guest's refreshments, dinner, and the show! You do NOT need to purchase a ticket for any registered attendee. Please contact TXAPA for assistance in purchasing the ticket.

Q: How much does it cost to attend the TXAPA Annual Meeting?

A: The registration fees vary depending on your classification:

  • TXAPA Members: $850
  • TXAPA Spouse or SO: $350
  • TxDOT Personnel: $300
  • TxDOT Spouse or SO: $150
  • Public (non-member): $950

Q: How much is the fee to play golf?

A: $150 per player

Q: How much is the fee for the sporting clay shoot?

A: $100 per shooter

Q: How do I pay for the meeting?

A: TXAPA Members and TxDOT Personnel may select pay by invoice or pay by credit card. You will receive either a receipt or an invoice to download.
