Trena Siebrands started working in construction about 29 years ago. She started as a truck driver hauling concrete, septic tanks, and moving dirt. She talked her way into learning how to run cranes and has been a crane operator ever since. She is now working as a foreman and operator doing the scheduling, making sure the cranes can get into job sites, making sure the operators know what needs to be done, and running the cranes when needed. Her team performs the crucial function of keeping workers safe by positioning work zone barriers between the paving crews and oncoming traffic.
