I have been in the construction industry for 7 years now but I have only been in a field position for 3 years. I transitioned from an admin role to pursue a field job in hopes that I could establish a career for myself and my growing family. After 3 years in the QC industry, I am still in love with just about every aspect of the job because I like to believe that my work has a great impact on my community. It fills me with great joy to drive over a road and think to myself that I designed the mix we are driving over.
