TXAPA's Katie Horton manages the We Build Texas Roads workforce development partnership of TXAPA, AGC Texas, and TxDOT. As part of that, she attends career fairs and vocational expos statewide and coordinates the Workforce Rangers, a group of volunteers who promote our industry in Texas schools. Katie will offer insights into how we can attract and retain Gen Z and give us a from-the-field perspective on the young people poised to enter the workforce.
