Travis earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. In 2012, Travis joined TxDOT’s engineering staff within the Flexible Pavements Branch of the Construction Division. Travis is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas and served as the Flexible Pavements Section Director for the Materials and Tests Division. Travis joined 1836 Engineering as Vice President in 2025.
