Joseph serves as the technical lead for Emerald Eco-Label, NAPA’s Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program for asphalt mixtures. He also directs research projects related to asphalt pavement sustainability and resilience, educates the asphalt industry about sustainability and incorporating it into their organizations, and works with external stakeholders such as government agencies and green rating systems.
