Andy Cascione is the Sr. Asphalt Technical Manager at Valero in San Antonio. He oversees asphalt technical support and research initiatives for Valero’s refineries and terminals that produce neat and modified asphalt binders. He graduated from Michigan Tech in 2004, then began his career in Arizona as a hot mix QC Engineer. In 2014 he graduated from Iowa State University with a PhD in Civil Engineering where he conducted research on asphalt pavements, polymer modification, and bio-based modifiers.
